Purpose
MED1stMR is a European research project aimed at enhancing the training of medical first responders through the development of an innovative mixed reality training system. This system integrates real-world patient simulation manikins with virtual environments to create immersive and realistic training scenarios.
Where We See Impact
By integrating MR technology into medical training, MED1stMR aims to better prepare first responders for complex and high-stress situations, ultimately improving their performance and resilience during real-world emergencies. The project seeks to enhance the effectiveness of training programs, leading to better patient outcomes in mass-casualty incidents.
